Established in 1995, there are now four Vinegar Hill shops in Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon, Shrewsbury and Cheltenham. They are all under the direction of founder Beth Austin and her sister and brother Deborah and Richard, who using Beth’s background in interior design, have created impressive shop interiors in which to browse the multitude of products on display. The most recent store opening is in Cheltenham and by using Richard's experience in fashion retailing a seperate fashion and accessories floor has been added in this shop.

Vinegar Hill’s unusual name was derived from a signpost in New Zealand, which indicated the small market town of Vinegar Hill and now points the way to one of the U.K.’s most exciting destination shops.

Offering a wonderful variety of designs and styles this “lifestyle emporium” encompasses a selection of individual home furnishings and accessories, artefacts, gifts, jewellery, garden accessories and children’s toys and clothing.

Beth and Debbie buy their stock from the U.K., Europe and America and source with great care, enthusiasm and style.
